A new book was presented in Kazakhstan

On March 29 of this year, the Kazakh-Turkish International University named after Ahmad Yassavi started an international scientific and practical conference “Khoja Ahmad Yassavi – the thinker of the century” in connection with the 930th anniversary of the birth of Khoja Ahmad Yassavi in the city of Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
About 50 scientists from 10 countries listened to lectures at the conference, which was organized in order to study and widely promote Yassavi’s heritage, to introduce its wisdom and principles into the educational system, and to coordinate the research of local and foreign scientists in this regard.

Mekhrojiddin Amonov, head of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Doctor of Philosophy in History, also participated in the conference and gave a speech on the topic “Analysis of the Guidebook on the History of Zarafshan Valley Sufism”.
The speaker shared new information about the life, work and history of the sheikhs of the Yassaviya sect who worked in the Zarafshan oasis.

The scientist also presented the books “At-Tarihu-s-saghir”, “Sunani Dorimi”, “Encyclopedia of Hadith Changes”, “Iqani”, “The Naqshbandi-Mujaddidiya brotherhood in Central Asia (XVIII-XIX centuries)” published by the Center.


The presented publications of the center were handed over to Janar Temirbekova, rector of the university, for the library fund of the Kazakh-Turkish International University named after Ahmad Yassavi.
The conference will resume tomorrow.
