Dr. Muhammad Bashor Arafat, founder and head of the American Civilizations Exchange and Cooperation Foundation (CECF), was a guest at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center on March 5.
During the meeting with the scientist, Deputy Director O. Muhammadiyev spoke about religious and educational reforms in our country and the new research and higher educational institutions created as a result of them, introduced the guest to the activities of the Center and the translation and research work carried out by researchers.
Speaking about the foundation he heads, Bashor Arafat noted that today CECF is working on a number of projects to develop cooperation between representatives of different religions and cultures, form and expand interreligious dialogue, and establish “religious diplomacy”.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed issues such as establishing mutual cooperation and improving the skills of personnel. The guest was presented with books published by the Center.
