HOLY PLACES SHOW OUR RICH HISTORY AND LIFE VALUES

The Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center was visited by Almazbek Shakirbay, Director of the Center for Religious Studies of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religion in Kazakhstan, and researcher, Nurmukhammad Meymankhoja.

The guests visited the Central Museum and got acquainted with exhibits dedicated to the life and scientific heritage of Imam Bukhari, as well as copies of handwritten sources.

During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religion in Kazakhstan. The speakers expressed their opinion on the prospects for mutual cooperation, ensuring the effectiveness of joint projects that will be implemented in a number of areas, and noted that this legal document is of great importance in achieving common goals.

After that, with the participation of the guests, an international scientific round table was organized on the topic “Teaching Yassavism in Central Asia (on the example of the life and work of Sheikh Ikani)”. The event was attended by the management and scientific staff of the Center, as well as of the governor Jambai district of the Samarkand region Kayum Sobirov.

The Governor spoke about the high spirituality during the fundamental reforms carried out in the New Uzbekistan on the basis of new ideas and views, the centuries-old traditions and national culture of our people, formed on the basis of the rich scientific heritage left by our  ancestors, and the immeasurable value of the holy steps in our country, Also recognizing the worthy contribution of the Center’s staff to the scientific justification uniqueness, historical rarity of shrines in this area, as proof of their opinion.

The director of the center, Shovosil Ziyodov, noted that the study and transfer of the life and scientific heritage of thinkers to the next generation is included in the list of important issues that require the attention of the state, ensuring the effectiveness of the activities carried out in this regard and further accelerating the continuous cooperation of state and public organizations, as well as scientific institutions.

Almasbek Shagirbay noted that the culture, art and scientific activities of the Turkic peoples, historically like-minded, are in harmony and community with each other, noting that the culture and achievements of the tamaddun, developed in the states they founded, occupy a special place in the development of world civilization. Among them is the Yasavi doctrine, which at one time was widely spread in Central Asia.

The speakers in the conversation touched upon the remarkable aspects of their spiritual heritage, presenting drawings to one of the brightest representatives of the Yasavi takikat, Sheikh Ikani Urrati.

Within the framework of the event, a monograph by the researcher of the Center Mehrozhiddin Amonov on the topic “Naqshbandi-Mujaddiya tarikat in Central Asia” and a book entitled “Ikani” were presented. The author gave an idea of the information included in them, giving a brief description of his scientific work. The participants rated these brochures as a high scientific success and warmly congratulated the author on this achievement.

The practical part of the events continued at the  Temple of Sheikh Kamoliddin Ikani Aliabadi  in the Jomboy district.
