ANOTHER WINNER OF THE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM CAME TO THE CENTER

The next winner of the Imam Bukhari International Scholarship was an associate professor at the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center of the Punjab University in Pakistan.

Mubasher Hussain started a scientific practice at the Center.The researcher from Lahore has a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctor’s degree in Islamic Studies and Islamic Law from Punjab University. The scientist, winner of a number of scientific awards, has published more than 100 articles and about 40 books. He worked as the head of the Hadith and Sirat Department of the University. The scientist’s scientific work is related to the methodology of the science of hadith and the interpretation of hadith, and the result of his recent research in this regard is reflected in the book “Legal Traditions and Iraqi Lawyers”, published by the International Islamic University of Islamabad. Dr. Mubasher Hussain at the Center explores the influence of Imam Bukhari as a Mujtahid on the interpretation of Islamic law in South Asia.The scholarship holder was welcomed by the Director of the Center, Shovоsil Ziyоdov..During the dialogue, the opportunities created by the international program for researchers were recognized and the importance of ensuring the success of scientific research was emphasized.

The winner of the program got informed about the activities of the Center.

The researcher’s  fellowrship at the Center lasts one month.
