Today, on 11 February, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Islamic University of Malaysia (USIM) through the ZOOM program.
In this process, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, an official staff of the Islamic University of Malaysia, scientific staff of the Institute under the Islamic Sciences of the University, and the leadership of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center participated.
At the beginning of the event, Ravshan Usmanov is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia introduced the participants and wished them success in cooperation.
After that, presentations and videos on the activities of both parties were shown.
In November 2021, the institutions held a video conference on cooperation, during the conference it was agreed to continue negotiations on the preparation of a memorandum of cooperation and the results of the dialogue.

The two sides agreed to develop cooperation in the study of the rich heritage of Islamic civilization, the culture of tolerance, and the widespread promotion of the humane nature of Islam.
Following the constructive talks held within the framework of the ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation was signed.
