On October 25 of this year, in the Turkish city of Ankara, an international conference began entitled “Studying the heritage causing the righteous path of Imam Moturidi”, which is headed by the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic peoples at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
At this prestigious conference take part from the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, deputy director Sh. Umarov and from the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan associate professor S. Akhilov.
The main objectives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic peoples are to strengthen cooperation in the social, cultural, political and economic spheres among the Turkic and fraternal peoples, to study the historical heritage, to strengthen friendship and fraternity among nations and to promote the cultural and spiritual values of Islam.
The international conference organized by this association is dedicated to the life and teachings of Imam Moturidi.
It was emphasized at the seminar that it is important to study the legacy of Imam Moturidi and it is necessary to propagandize that the Muslim world stands on pure faith based on his scientific views and that the dissemination of this doctrine is important.
The conference is held in Turkish, English and Arabic.
