KNOWLEDGE IS OUR COMMON PROPERTY

At the initiative of scholars from the Kalimantan region of Indonesia, a facsimile edition of “Sabilul Muhtadiyn” (“The Path of the Guided”), authored by the renowned 18th-century hadith scholar and jurist Muhammad Arshad al-Banjari, was presented to Uzbekistan.

Copies of this valuable work were delivered to the libraries of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center. The news was reported by one of Indonesia’s leading media outlets, The Kalimantan Post.

Recognized as one of the principal sources of Islamic jurisprudence in the Southeast Asian region, this work stands as a seminal example of ijtihad, having served as a reference for legal opinions (fatwas) and scholarly analysis for centuries.

The Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center regards this initiative as a significant contribution to the strengthening of academic collaboration between scholarly institutions across different regions, founded upon the scientific study of historical heritage, critical analysis of primary sources, and the preservation of documentary evidence.
