On July 3, during the first day of the international scientific-practical conference “From Māwarāʾ al-Nahr to Southeast Asia: Islamic schoolarship and Intellectual Connections” held in Jakarta, a presentation of religious and educational publications published in Uzbekistan was organized.
One of the main objectives of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center is to study, promote, translate, and publish the scholarly heritage of our great ancestors. During the presentation, the Center’s achievements in this area were clearly showcased. Books, treatises, and translated works — produced through the dedicated efforts of the Center’s researchers — were extensively exhibited.
Participants were provided with detailed information about the content and significance of these publications, their scholarly and historical value, and their role in contemporary Islamic studies.
The conference participants expressed great interest in the presented works, emphasizing that these scholarly outcomes offer a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of Māwarāʾ al-Nahr’s significant role in the development of Islamic civilization.
As part of the forum, video clips showcasing the sacred sites located throughout Uzbekistan were also presented.
