Educational Dialogue at the Silk Road university

An international scientific-practical conference on “The Silk Road and the Turkic World: Integration of Language, Literature, Translation, and Gastronomic Tourism in Cultural Exchange” was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand. The event was organized in cooperation with Pamukkale University of Turkey and the Science and Innovation international scientific journal. It brought together local and foreign scholars, professors, and academic researchers.

In sectional meetings, experts presented lectures on topics such as the contributions of Central Asian thinkers and the role and significance of figures of Islamic civilization in promoting interfaith and intercultural tolerance.

At the conference, Yuldoshkhon Isayev, a researcher at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, delivered a lecture titled “The Contribution of Abu Hafs Bujayri to the Development of Tafsir Science.” The researcher discussed the scholar’s role in the Eastern Renaissance and the significance of his work “Jami‘ al-Musnad” in understanding the essence of Islam, as well as its importance in the sciences of tafsir (Qur’anic interpretation) and hadith. He also provided insights into the immense contributions of other great thinkers from Uzbekistan to the advancement of Islamic civilization.

In conclusion, Y. Isayev emphasized the invaluable role of the rich spiritual heritage of our ancestors in nurturing future generations with firm faith and national pride. He also discussed the measures being taken in Uzbekistan to ensure freedom of conscience, particularly the importance of the Concept on Ensuring Freedom of Conscience and State Policy in the Religious Sphere in the Republic of Uzbekistan. He noted that this concept plays a key role in strengthening interreligious harmony and a culture of tolerance in society, while also guaranteeing citizens’ rights and freedoms through the assurance of religious freedom.

Such international scientific-practical conferences held in Uzbekistan contribute to intercultural exchange and play an important role in promoting harmony among the various ethnic and religious communities living in the country, as well as ensuring peace and mutual understanding across nations and faiths.
