Within the framework of the Uzbekistan delegation’s visit to Algeria, a presentation was held about the religious and educational reforms being carried out in our country, particularly focusing on the activities, goals, and objectives of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center. The presentation emphasized the center’s role in studying the Islamic scientific heritage, disseminating it to the wider public and developing international scientific cooperation. A special video about the center’s activities was also shown.
Following this, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Algerian Research Center for Islamic Sciences and Civilization.
This document outlines consistent cooperation between the scientific institutions in areas such as the study and digitization of manuscript sources, organization of scientific conferences, seminars and roundtables, exchange of research results, implementation of professional development programs, as well as mutual presentation and dissemination of the scientific heritage preserved in the collections of both centers.
At the signing ceremony, Shovosil Ziyodov, Director of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, stressed that this cooperation will not only advance scientific relations between the two countries but also open broad opportunities for deeper study of the historical and spiritual heritage that is significant for the entire Muslim community.
The leadership of the Algerian Center for Islamic Sciences and Civilization expressed confidence that this memorandum will serve as a solid foundation for exchanging experiences, enhancing scientific potential and applying modern scientific approaches.
This important document will become a strong legal basis for strengthening scientific, cultural and historical ties between the two prestigious institutions, as well as for implementing joint projects in the study and promotion of Islamic heritage.
