WHO HAS A PROFIT FROM CONVERTING TO A MASK OF RELIGION?

Recently, religious and media activities have been widely reported in the media and in particular on social networks. However, where the threats and concerns of religion are on the rise, how honest, and professional is the media coverage of this area in today’s world? How journalists are well informed in this area? How to prevent the spread of destructive ideas extremist groups’ through the media?

Today, the development of information technology with the rapid many websites, social networks, and sites has become the main source of religious information for many citizens and especially young people. This, in turn, increases the risk that corrupt ideas can be infiltrated by the media.

This demonstrates to each of us that we should not allow extremist groups to inflict into the minds of citizens by using the media’s capabilities and those we need to effectively use new innovative ways to fight against them.

It is important noting that journalists, especially bloggers, that are civil journalism representatives, to prevent the spread of destructive ideas through the media, be aware of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” and other regulatory documents.

Because these documents define the system of universal views to strengthen the secular foundations of our state and prevent the use of our sacred religion for bad purposes.

We have to admit that some journalists have not enough religious knowledge and understanding and this state preventing them from operating properly from properly explaining religion, to distinguish traditional religion from different tendencies, and to protect citizens from the influence of destructive ideas.

It is noteworthy, that the claims of some groups that politics and religion are inseparable, all aspects of social life should be governed by the rules of Islam are causing a one-sided mood in society.

Article 61 of our Constitution states, “Religious organizations and associations are separate from the state and are equal before the law. The state shall not interfere in the activities of religious associations.”- said the norm is strictly set.

However, the separation of religion from the state does not mean its separation from society.
