As previously reported in Samarkand, the international conference “Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi and the teaching of maturidia: past and present” was held. Within the framework of the conference, on February 4 of this year, participants visited the sights of Samarkand, including the Imam Moturidi Mausoleum, the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific-Research Center and the Higher School of Hadith.
During the tour, guests were informed about the reforms and achievements in religious and educational fields carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years.
Guests were familiarized with the activities of shrines and scientific institutions and highly appreciated the work done. They also left their good wishes in “honorable guests books” of the Center and the School.
