An international conference was held on the theme «Renaissance of pilgrimage tourism at the Great Silk Road crossroad» at the IBISRC

    On May 25, 2019, an international conference was held on the theme “Renaissance of pilgrimage tourism at the Great Silk Road crossroad” with the initiative of the Samarkand State University and the International University of Tourism “Ipak Yo`li”, at the conference hall of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific-Research Centre. In the conference participated experts of tourism from Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, France, Italy, South Korea, Poland, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and our academic staffs.

The participants of the foreign conference were accepted by the Sh. Ziyodov director of the Imam Bukhari International scientific-research center and researchers. Firstly, foreign guests were informed about works of Imam Bukhari connected with the science of hadith belonging at various times, information about expositions and modern media. The guests watched with interest the rarest manuscripts and lithographs kept in the library, the wall paintings depicting the great muhaddith Imam Bukhari’s paintings of the test process and visitors were invited to the conference hall of the center.

Mohammad Nazeer Jaan, director of Naemiya madrasa Darul ilm Mujaddida complex Islamic Republic of Pakistan noted that “First of all let me congratulate all of you with the blessed month of Ramadan! Thank you for inviting me to this conference! It is too real to say that it is a great land for the sake of human civilization and for the entire Islamic world! I am happy to have the greatest happiness visited the grave of the great muhaddith Imam Bukhari! The rich scientific heritage left by the sultan of the Hadith, ability of the great man, it urges to feel the pride and proud in our heart!”

After that, spoke on the conference the experts of Malaysia, Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. First of all, speakers expressed their gratitude to the organizers for their participation in the conference and noted that the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation and cooperating between the institutes and the IBISRC would further benefit both sides.

There is also a special meaning for holding this conference in Samarkand. Samarkand is a city with many many years old histories and today it is becoming a real tourism city.

Numerous unique monuments, such as the ancient Afrosiyob monument, the tomb of Khoja Doniyor, the Imam Bukhari complex in Payariq district, the Registan Ensemble and the Mausoleum of Amir Temur, testify to the ancient civilization and culture of the land.

According to Articles 51-53 of the Road Map established between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it is envisaged to establish scientific and practical cooperation between the Uzbek and Pakistani scholars.

At the end of the conference, a discussion was held between the leadership of Naimiya Madrasah, Muhammad Nazeer Jaan and the IBISRC management. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the two centres.
