As previously reported, the “II International Sarakhsi Conference” was held in Denizli, Turkey, in cooperation with the Institute of Islamic Sciences of Pamukkale University, Gaye Vakfi Foundation in Turkey and Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan.
Researchers from the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Otabek Muhammadiyev gave a lecture on the topic “Research of Imam Sarakhsi in Uzbekistan” and Mekhrojiddin Amonov on the topic “Manuscripts of “Mabsut” of Imam Sarakhsi stored in Uzbekistan”.
In the lectures from the main session of the conference entitled “Research on Sarakhsi”, the speakers gave detailed information about the work being carried out in our country to study the scientific heritage of our ancestors, the opportunities created by our government for this purpose, and the successes achieved as a result of the Center’s scientific activities.
As part of the event, the famous fiqh, head of the Gaye Vaqfi Foundation, translator, Prof.Dr.Mustafa Cevad Akshit, who translated Sarakhsi’s 30-volume work “Mabsut” into Turkish, was presented with gifts by representatives of our country.
At the end of the conference, certificates were presented to the speakers.
