MALAYSIAN SCIENTISTS VISITED IBISRC

Today, October 25 Director of the Institute of Islamic Civilization at the National University of Malaysia, Professor Fariza Binti Sham, Rector of the University of Malaya, Professor Mohd Hamdi Abd Shukor, and Malaysian Representative for Children’s Rights Nur Azia Mohd visited the IBISRC.

At the beginning of the visit, the high-ranking guests got acquainted with the Museum of the center and its exhibits. Then the Central Library and the books in it attracted the attention of Malaysian scientists.

The guests were deeply impressed by the conditions created at the center, as well as the ongoing research and translation work. During the visit, the management of the Center had a brief conversation with the guests. During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further expansion of the Center’s close cooperation with scientific institutions in Malaysia.

As previously reported, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed on August 13 between the Imam Bukhari International Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Institute of Islamic Civilization at the National University of Malaysia.

During the talks, the sides noted with satisfaction that cooperation has been established in several areas within the framework of this memorandum, as a result of which joint projects, scientific seminars, and exhibitions are being organized.

At the end of the conversation, the guests were presented with souvenirs established by the Center and published literature.

The guests wrote their signatures in the Center’s guest book.
