IN THE PURSUIT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

A delegation led by Mohd Hilmi bin Ramli, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences at Malaysia University of Technology (MTU) and Deputy Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Islam, Science, and Civilization, paid a visit to the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

Otabek Muhammadiyev, Deputy Director of the Center, acquainted the guests with the museum’s exhibitions, manuscript collection, scientific works, and available facilities. The delegation members were provided with information on the Center’s activities in studying the scholarly heritage of prominent scholars, researching and digitizing manuscripts, and implementing scientific and practical projects. The parties exchanged views on scientific cooperation. Prospects for future academic connections, research directions, and organizational collaboration between the two institutions were also discussed.

The MTU representatives highly appreciated the activities of the Center, its museum, and scientific infrastructure, specifically recognizing the importance of such institutions in further developing the country’s scientific potential.
