THE CENTER’S ACTIVITIES IN THE EYES OF INTERNATIONAL MEDIA

An international press tour for representatives of foreign mass media was organized at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by journalists from Tajikistan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, China, Afghanistan, and other countries, as well as representatives of the Euronews and BBC news agencies.

During the event, the guests toured the Center’s museum exhibition and received detailed information about the library’s activities, the digitization of rare manuscripts, the efforts to create an open scientific environment, and the modern facilities provided for researchers. A special video highlighting the Center’s activities and objectives was also presented.

Foreign journalists emphasized that the Center has established a scientific environment where knowledge, education, and history are harmoniously integrated. They particularly highlighted the systematic study and dissemination of the heritage of Imam Bukhari and other prominent scholars using a modern, research-based approach as an important and timely initiative.

As a result of the press tour, the Center’s open communication format with the international media was further strengthened, providing the global community with accurate and targeted information about Uzbekistan’s scientific research institutions and the processes of preserving and studying its historical heritage.

Thus, this international event proved to be not only a platform for information exchange but also an important PR initiative, playing a significant role in promoting Uzbekistan’s scientific and cultural heritage.
