Dr. Azziddin Mamish, a distinguished Islamic scholar and head of the ISESCO department at Qatar University, paid a visit to the Imam Bukhari international scientific-research center.
As part of the visit, a sincere and substantive dialogue was conducted between the leadership of the Center and Dr. Azziddin Mamish. During the discussions, both parties underscored the importance of rigorous scholarly examination of the intellectual legacy of eminent scholars, the effective transmission of the scientific value of their works to the younger generation, and the strategic promotion of these contributions within the international academic community.
During the dialogue, concrete proposals were discussed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly through the implementation of joint scientific projects in collaboration with ISESCO, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and research activities. Additionally, prospects for cooperation between the Imam Bukhari international scientific-research center and Qatar University were explored in areas such as the exchange of expertise, mutual presentation of research findings, and support for young researchers.
The guest acquainted himself with the scientific activities carried out at the Center and gave high commendation, in particular, to the exhibitions, publications, and research dedicated to the life and scholarly legacy of Imam Bukhari.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Azziddin Mamish expressed his gratitude to the Center’s team and emphasized that such dialogues and visits constitute a significant step toward advancing bilateral scientific cooperation, as well as promoting the legacy of great thinkers on an international scale.
