On July 19, international participants of the SCOPUS seminar visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in Samarkand. The seminar was jointly organized by the Center, the Philosophical and Social Sciences electronic journal, and the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics.
The guests, primarily composed of editors of SCOPUS-indexed journals from Indonesia and Azerbaijan, engaged in a sincere and meaningful dialogue with Professor Baxtiyor Turayev, Doctor of Philosophy and Chief Advisor to the Director of the Center.
The meeting focused on the activities of international academic journals, the evaluation of scientific research at the global level through the SCOPUS system, and the potential for expanding collaborative efforts in the development of science and education. Professor Baxtiyor Turayev shared his insights on the significance of international cooperation in the field of science and discussed ways to align the scholarly heritage of Movarounnahr with the demands of the modern era.
The guests shared insights into the scientific potential and educational processes in their respective countries, placing particular emphasis on the importance of experience exchange.
During the visit, the guests became acquainted with the Imam Bukhari Museum at the Center, which evokes the atmosphere of a timeless scholarly and spiritual tradition. Through its exhibits, they received detailed information about the life of the great muhaddith, his scientific legacy, and his enduring spiritual heritage.
The intellectual and educational impressions gained from the dialogue and museum visit further deepened the guests’ interest in and respect for shared scholarly values. It was emphasized that such exchanges of ideas and experiences, grounded in mutual spiritual affinity, pave the way for strengthening academic cooperation and fostering a unified and sustainable environment for international collaboration.
