Conceptual Solutions and Practical Steps for the Innovative Museum

The team of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center is implementing a series of initiatives aimed at improving the exposition of the Imam Bukhari Innovative Museum.

As previously reported, an internal meeting dedicated to the development of the museum content was held in August last year. The main focus of the meeting was the creation of an exposition related to the history of the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex.

Soon after, in order to coordinate the scientific activities and organizational efforts in this direction, a site study was conducted at the newly reconstructed area of the Imam Bukhari Complex, where the innovative museum is being established.

As a logical continuation of these practical efforts, a discussion was held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center regarding the organizational and architectural solutions of the museum. The meeting was attended by the leadership and researchers of the Center, representatives of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, and members of Turkey’s Outdoor Factory company.

During the discussion, the conceptual and general architectural ideas of the museum were reviewed. Participants exchanged views on project solutions regarding the interconnection of pavilions, movement routes, and technical and practical aspects of open and closed spaces.

Additionally, the meeting emphasized the importance of defining the arrangement and layout of the proposed exhibits, their mutual harmony, the items to be displayed in showcases and digital panels, the selection of information and multimedia materials, and the need for meaningful and well-sourced content.

The dialogue also included discussions on the preparations for the grand opening ceremony of the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex, including its innovative museum and the building of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Issues such as the formation of the guest list, the development of the ceremony script and main event program, as well as other related organizational tasks were outlined.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants noted the importance of enhancing the efficiency of work in this area, establishing continuous communication and information exchange among responsible parties, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of the assigned tasks, and strictly adhering to deadlines.
